From 2007, Breakthrough began to work with a number of the Coca-Cola Enterprises (CCE) business units, to accelerate their business growth with a unique focus on empowering the individual.
CCE European Supply Chain commissioned a Breakthrough Programme to accelerate their Organisational Integration. The Breakthrough Programme enabled the business areas to change direction, which elevated themselves above business-as-usual, and achieved the results detailed in this case study.

OPERATIONAL BREAKDOWNS AND ACTION PLANS
Commissioned by the former European Supply chain VP, Enrico Nardulli, Breakthrough was a key partner during the business’ organisational transformation towards becoming a truly pan-European organisation. We worked to build this new team and align them behind a joint vision that continues to support the deployment of this vision to date. We worked specifically with Enrico’s Leadership Team, to enable them to model and act on the behaviours necessary for success.
As part of our work with the European Supply Chain, Breakthrough also carried out a series of interventions with key plants (France & Dongen) facing serious business challenges. These interventions focused on recognising and declaring the current operational breakdowns, and created a turn-around 30-day action plan to address them.
In September 2007, Breakthrough completed its first Programme with the HR Leadership Team, led by the then HR VP for Europe, Simon Brockett. We supported them as true business partners for a number of years. We aligned their leadership team, shifted the individual mindsets, and created a roadmap that implemented a shared delivery model that achieved their HR outcomes.

The Breakthrough Programme initiated this transformation at the level of the individual – empowering participants with full ownership and accountability, and aligning them behind the business strategy and vision of becoming a true solutions provider.
